Can anyone who has had their 05/06 STS lowered by installing INTRAX lowering springs tell me if any modifications were involved in their installation or was it just a swap out, removing the stock springs and installing the INTRAX lowering springs. Can a store such as Goodyear/Firestone install the lowering springs. Any information would be appreciated.

I lowered my 06 sts with intrax springs. If you have magnetic ride control, you will need to fabricate shorter rods for the sensors. If you dont have MRC then its just a spring swap. By the way, found out there is no camber adj. for the rear, you will have approx. one and half degree negative camber. Any shop that does susp. work, should be able to do it.

Robert, after I posted I was thinking about the auto leveler in the rear.To make sure your car does not need the shorter rods call D3, they are a vendor here on the forum. I have not really delt with them but they do sell and install the intrax springs.

Thanks Big Kahuna. I'll get in touch with D3, I do have the 1sg package so
I will need the extras you mentioned.
