RobertCTS has this, looks stealthy. The stock emblem will stand out more now. It's a good look. Looking forward to the pics!

The reason I asked is I did the DIY painting. I used Krylon's Fusion paint make for outdoor plastic furniture. It looked great!! What I overlooked is the front grill and bumber are painted with a special paint with a flex additive so the paint isn't as brittle. All this to tell you after 6 months the road rash made it look like shit. Not a good idea. :(

It's alright, it looks like he's already in the process of quilting a bra for the front end! Ha ha, j/k.

or you can get a wire mesh aftermarket grille which would probably look exactly the same, yet is not a v grille, to prevent any "poser" comments...

did you install it yet?

Dupont auto paint and clearcoat. The also use a flex agent to reduce road rash.

BTW wire mesh is difficult to paint. Etching the metal is paramount but some rash still occurs.

no matter how you modify it be it a v-grill,v-bumper,side skirts etc. It's still a CTS
now when you put on the v badges your definetly posing
it's all in taste, if people liked all the same sh*t life would be too boring!

it's not really a V grill. it started off on the V, but when i went to my dealership to buy my car back in the beginning of the year they had all the 2007 base model cts's on the floor with these "v" grilles. if it looks good and you like it then go for it. i personally love it and am going to buy the v- grille with the lower mesh grille from t-rex and paint the mesh on that black. it's when you slap on a v badge when you get charged with a flagrant.
