: Lowering 00 Escalade stock springs

Hey guys,
I went to order a lowering kit for my lade today and the guy told me I don't need to buy a kit for the front, that all I have to do is adjust the torsion and I can get up to a 4" drop. So all I got was the rear springs.
Anyone knows how to adjust the torsion or have a link on it.
Thanks Much.

there are bolts under the truck between the doors
just turn counter clockwise to lower

Should I jack up the truck before turning the bolts or it can be down with wheels on the ground:bouncy:

You can loosen them while it's on the ground but if you plan on putting it back up to stock height you should jack it up.

Be very careful. There is a lot of stored energy in the torsion bar. If you back out the adjuster screw to far your in trouble. I think a 4inch drop in the front can only be achieved by reindexing the torsion key on the torsion bar. You can rent the correct tool to remove the torsion key at the auto parts store
