Well got the V running today!!!! :cool2: :cool2: :cool2:

It turned out that i had the crank sensor and the oil level sensor switched around, so i swapped those today, went to turn on the key, and the guages didnt light up and when i switched the key nothing! I was like WTF it cranked yesterday, so i called JAMES, the man @ lindsay, him and ewillard3 helped me out over the phone, they suggested to check the grounds. So we got off the phone i did that and still nothing.

So i swapped around some of the 4 relay switches in the main box and finally got some dash lights. Cranked it up and my god it started!!!!

Might have some bad gas in the tank though not sure, but did get it off the jack stands and it did move under its own power!!!!! I was so pumped I was like a kid on christmas!

here is the vid

nothing special but here it is running http://www.upwithpunk.com/portal/e107_images/emoticons/grin.gif http://www.upwithpunk.com/portal/e107_images/emoticons/woot.gif

I am glad to hear that we were able to help you even a little bit.

I have some funny stories to tell about people switching connectors.
We had one guy, when I worked in Missouri, that almost hydro locked an engine because he switched the connections between the transmission and the fuel rail on an Aurora! The PCM was commanding several injectors open all the time because it thought it was trying to turn on a transmission solenoid and it was dumping gas into one or two of the cylinders, we all laughed ourselves silly when we found out what happened.

They usually try to use different connectors for most things but once in a while you can swap one.
It's really cool that you got it running.

damn i am glad mine wasnt that bad haha! :crybaby:

Yeah after tearing the motor out in august and finally get the other motor up and running in december is quite the time frame to recall, especially since the both had 3 pins in each connector :ill:

btw do you know any way to test out relays to tell which ones i need to get new ones of and which ones are good?

They don't go bad very often but they could have been damaged by water intrusion. You said this is a flood car right?
You might just have to build a little rig to test it.
You any good with electricity?
Got some spare parts laying around?
We can build you a relay checker but it might be a pain to use.
Maybe you could find a circuit in the car that you could swap relays into, like a fog lamp relay, and you could test all the relays that way.
That may not work as well since removing relays will affect other circuits.
