wow.... Its a 3.6 too.... Are cars a depriciating like a mother!

It actually says 13,995.00 but also looks out of warranty and from what I see no power passenger seat, or zabraino wood trim, cassette deck ect ect. I'm sure other things as well. Even little things like those were a big reason I bought the car I did. I love the look and feel of the old school tape deck. My friends 2004 Land Rover which is amazing has a fold down head unit with the casette hidden behind.

So if its out of warranty and the car and a boat load of problems, to me would not be worth the 14,000 (Also do not see a noon roof :suspense:

If it is in good condition you dont need the warranty especially at that price....it would be worth it to buy it and put in 2,000.00.......ONLY IF IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION,,,,,,looks alright from the photos but this dealership gets their cars at auctions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it does have the 3.6, but that's the only highlight. It's a base model. No dual pwr seats, wood trim, sport pkg. If you can live with out that stuff, it would be a good buy. That is if it's in decent shape. I've seen a couple 03/04 base models with around 60k miles going for $16.5 at dealerships near Orlando.

I'll take a specially trained mechanic over a carfax any day of the week. What good is a carfax if it is repaired under the radar.

That's a hella good point. I bought a Maxima that had a clean carfax & I tried selling it to a kid who took it to a body shop to have it looked over & they pulled off the weather stripping and found proof that the entire roof had been cut off & a new one welded in. Ended up taking a big loss on that one!:banghead:

that sucks. helps to have a neighbor that is just that, highly skilled with this stuff. Id rather throw some fazooles his way, than pay for it in the long haul....

Yep, all valid points and it also has higher than average mileage (note the ad says 52K, not 40K). Not a bad deal, but do your homework on the car first (i.e. independent inspection).

I would be careful, there is a lot of crap being sold these days.
I would have a mechanic check it out if you are interested.
For some reason flood and transmission damage come to mind.........

Remeber the saying "If it sounds to good to be true, then it is to good to be true". I've seen ads like this as well that have a 20% down payment, you know, shown in print so small it would take a microscope to see. OR you have to have a 840 Beacon score. The advice on an outside mechanic is a real good idea.

Damn and i thought i got a good deal on my 04 for $14800. BUt then again it is the east coast cars are a bit cheaper over there. Thats weird though, because dealer trade in is $15k??? Steal of a deal
