Ok, here is what i want to get for my CTS 3.6

Interior-

Cadillac Embroidered Head rests, DVD Nav--factory? (can i put this in myself?)
Cadillac Embroidered floormats,

Performance-

Quad tip exhuast (who makes that) a full system.? ...Chip??? intake.

I have a little extra money to spend so what else can i do for engine performance?


-Exterior

V bumper, HID's ,Sport wing(rear), Can i get a sunroof put in the rear of the car for the ppl in the back seat? If both sunroof's fold upward and not back into the body? RIMS!!! Nothing like 20's or anything drastic, No chrome or anything, just some aggressive sport rims.


Anything else u think i should add?

Hover conversion?? jk. You sure did list a lot of stuff. The exhaust your thinking of is the Corsa kit.

You should get the Volant intake.

All your interior stuff sounds good and yes you can do the Nav install yourself. Very easy.

If I were you, I would hit the performance mods first, then move onto the styling mods.

Might be possible, I was thinking about it and maybe its not such a good idea, too much time and money. But a Dual sunroof idea itself is good, maybe just not on a CTS. Im still looking at more HP, So far its just Voltan CAI and Corsa exhuast. Anyone else know about adding alot ore power?

Im working on a DVD Nav system now with the dealership. Does the Nav unit replace what is broken on the car now? And will i still have some of the vehicle info?

You're talking about the OEM Navigation system. Several of us have installed it. The install is fairly easy. The cost used is $700 to $1000. You can usually get $75-$85 by selling your 6 CD radio.

I got off the phone with the dealership, They told me 3000!!!! for a Nav unit.!!!!! Where are you guys getting you'r's. also, i only have a single disc:(. But 1000 is a great price for an oem nav

I bet they don't know how to do it! A special VSS wire has to be used as it's not plug & play. Most service departments have said it can't be done. $1000 is average but not great.

My nav was only 300 on ebay. Every time Robert posts Nav prices he always starts at 700. Not sure why. Maybe because its more rare to find them sub 700.

Ive never made any poser comments on this site btw. I dont have a single v item on my car currently. Im sure youre just kidding. im just saying. I would actually like an all brush metal trim around all the gauges. not just thin rings. Ive looking into getting a shop by me to cut me one. Should be nice. We'll see

I was just playin' with you Ryan. The chrome bezels do look nice but they ruin it for us with that damn CTS-V logo.

$700 is what I paid for a NAV. I posted once and started at $500 and the the guys pointed out that was misleading members as very few could be bought for that. So now I start at $700 where I got mine, including the #6 DVD maps and antenna. Your's was a steal at $300 :)

The only thing that needs reprogrammed is the NAV itself. It has to be cleared for your CTS or it will think it has been stolen and will not operate. They use a Tech II tool. Charge varies from free to $100.

Yeah they are pretty nice:) My car is comming back from the bodyshop with a new paintjob wed. And i have a little bit of insurance money left over, so i really want to add some nice things, I found a place for the floor mats, That engine cover is nice. But i really want more power, and a nav unit.

No, you wouldn't have to cut your wood trim. The 06,07 nav units come with the wood trim. It is almost plug and play.
