: BOSE HU, adding line inputs

So I got a Garmin nuvi 350, that plays MP3s, translates, etc. And I am using a tape adapter with mini plug to play the mp3s and navigational instructions through the head unit.

I would like to tidy up the install and have the power cord hidden as well as the audio plug. What do I need? Where do I tap into the 12v dc source (preferrably one that cuts off with the stereo).

I have a CD changer that I'm willing to sacrifice (the MP3s easily replace the 12 CDs), if necessary.

I hate the tape adapter as you can hear it working when the music is not loud.

why does it say Catera? I was looking at other models and they say they work *unless* I have a CD in dash AND a CD changer...

maybe that does not apply to these, but thought I'd ask before shelling out the dough.

Thanks, Jason.

UPDATE: it does not work. Now I'm stuck with the GM10-AUX POS because I got it on eBay. I should post this in the Catera forum for sale because it supposedly works on Catera just fine (they took the Eldos Sevilles and Devilles off)
