I am sure all of you know about the e-mail scams that have been going around. Well my dads friend has just been involved in one. She is an idiot first off for actually thinking this was real. She lost $3,000.

Anyone who falls for that crap should take an course on Internet safety of something. As far as I'm concerned everything in my inbox is some type of SPAM.

How many times do people have to be told NEVER GIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE ON THE INTERNET. Let alone in an email. Email is one of the most insecure way to communicate and people think nothing of providing CC numbers, banking information and so one in email. Never, I always say, call me at this number and I'll give you the information on the phone.

This has been going on long enough that EVERYONE should be aware at this point. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is.

In addition I know of three people, one I think on this board who had their CC info stolen because they used 'pay at the pump' while getting gas. That information is usually transmitted over an unsecured wireless network. I was trying to get gas today when the girl told me if I want to pay with CC I must use pay at the pump. I put the nozzle back and went to a different station.

It's sad that we have to think that way but everyone is out to get your money, period.

I don't trust anyone and that one of the reasons I use a Nextel phone. They're the ONLY wireless phone that's 100% encrypted.

I get so much spam mail, some similiar stated in the the video. I'm not that stupid to send my credict card of the internet unless its a secured site. Ebay I debate on just coz I've got screwed twice on it. I just try to be careful with what I buy.

I hate those guys. I actually string them along until I get the fake checks they send me in the mail. They use UPS/FedEx overnight from far as hell so I hope they are losing money with me. One fake check just came in today.

I hope they all die.

LOL I do that to telemarketers. I put them on hold and walk away figuring I'm costing someone money.
