Hi all, so I found the cd cable for my 98 eldo but its been cut either by a thief or previous owner who didn't have a clue more likely the first. Now what? Is there a place I can buy the plastic connection or is there someone out there that has one? I do appreciate any input you all might have. Thanks again. Jammin.:hmm:

are you talking about the cable to connect the cd changer to?Yes, the cable to the cd changer has been cut so there is no plug on the end of the cable. I need some idea as to where to get one or do I need to buy a new cable and rewire the end to plug into the changer. Thanks again. jammin.

i did a quick search and didn't find anything. have you checked with cadillac? i'm sure they'll have a number for it. i know you can buy adapters to use older cd changers on newer cars and such, so there's probably a cable. let me know if they have anything. i'll look again.

Personaly I would start at the local junck yards and if you find one remove it yourself. That way you will know what to do to your car and there will be less chance of breaking something when you are taking your dash and/or console apart.
