View Full Version : Is There a V for Me?

...that's fairly close? Seems like everything that fits my criteria that looks decent is on the east coast, and I live in the Phoenix area.

Here's what I've finally narrowed it down to:

- silver, red, blue or grey exterior, no black (my last car was black and when it was clean it looked fantastic, but I'm just not a wash every other day kinda guy what with work and family responsibilities.:thehand: )
- black or grey interior, no tan (black being 1st preference. Here in Phoenix black's not the color to have for an interior, but I can't help it - I love 'em. )
- 15k or less mileage.
- most mods are no big deal.
- Somewhere on this side of the US? Is that asking too much? (Of course for the right price I'll visit the other side of the Mississippi :bouncy: )

I do have 1 car that I'm waiting on pics (supposed to come on Monday) and it sounds really nice, but it's all the way on the east coast. I'm going to go and pick up the car myself rather than have it shipped, so there's the time factor of the cross-country drive that I'm not looking forward to plus the expense, but too many of my buddies have had cars damaged during shipping for me to risk it.

That's about it - I've got cash from the sale of my last car so there's no financing involved. I do want a decent deal just like everybody does, but I'm reasonable.

Oh, and I'm ready to act NOW. This one car only business with the family bites big time. Try planning 3 soccer games and 2 birthdays on a Saturday with one vehicle - not fun.

So if anyone has any leads for me I greatly appreciate it. My email is jtuoti AT msn DOT com.

You won't find one in blue. Good luck in your search.

You won't find one in blue.

I'll bet they're fairly rare. Here's a Glacier Blue one:

Have you looked on www.autotrader.com There was a Blue one in California privately listed for a long time. It does seem like most are in the NE.

i think "blue" may actually be gray, called blue by somebody who does not know the actual color name. unless it was crashed and repainted :bighead:

Thanks Kyle - I've been hitting the autotrader, cars.com, and ebay motors site every couple hours for the past week and a half. I'm hoping to get a lead from a forum member that's considering selling their car but hasn't posted it on the caddy classifieds section yet or they know someone who might be interested in selling their V.

I'm leery of ebay cars because they're mostly sold by dealers who have no history of the car. For example, the ebay ad you posted is for a salvage title car which I'd rather not own for obvious reasons.

I do appreciate your effort in posting those:thumbsup: , but I can continue to keep an eye on the popular car selling channels myself. I'm looking for a lead for a forum member's car or one they have personal experience with and the increased comfort that goes along with that. I should have made that clearer in my original post - my bad.

To bad Iam on the wrong side of the Mississippi and mine is black. It would make you a real nice family car! Paul

Mines expensive but well worth it & I'm in your hood...:stirpot: One of a kind...

Thanks Paul - your car looks great. I'll bet it's a screamer.

Chef - email me or PM me (although I can't respond back via PM until I get 50 posts so give me your email address if you use that route) the specifics. Thanks!
