That's a good deal if the price doesn't go into a bidding war. :)

I saw these ... could be a great deal!

Did you guys also see a week or so ago that someone's FE4s went for around $450? Makes bidding over $400 for FG2s a lot easier if you could get that for your old ones. :)

They had a pair they sold last week that ended up going for $527

Is there a concensus on what's a more desirable set up for the CTS-V? Are the FG2 shocks and springs more user friendly then say the FE4 shocks with the Ground Control coil over set up? An inquuiring mind want's to know!

Open your trunk... Unscrew the cap off of the spare tire compartment cover, lift it up, look underneith the cover for a small white RPO code sticker.. Look for either a FG2 or FE4 code... You will only have one of these numbers... Which ever one it is the shocks you have.

Hey All!!

Yea, I believe these sell at the Dealer for 1395.00 not installed and James sells them to us guys in the forum for around 1150.00. They are new from a Caddy dealer, meaning the ones on Ebay. If you can't find them, just go to car & truck parts, then type in CTS-V under search and presto all parts for our car will show up.......

Paul:thumbsup:

Just bought a new pair off of Ebay for $411 with shipping. I searched CTS-V shocks.

The FG2s were "new," had 10 bids, and went for $660. Seems low. Kinda wished I had been in the market.

A few weeks ago, a set of FE4s went for $455 (not sure how many miles, but I think very few). Seems kinda high.

Hey!!

yea, thats definitely cheap. About a month ago a new set sold for 510.00 from a different Caddy dealer. Deals are definitely there, everyone just needs to take time & look every couple of days. Thats where I got my New kooks headers, hi flow cats and corsa. Which I only paid 1600.00 that was including s/h.

Next time I go to buy a house, can I hire you?

The easiest thing to do is type "CTS V" in the search tool. Then select "Parts and Accessories" on the left. I agree, great way to find good deals if your not in a hurry and know what you are looking for.

Hey Guys!!

If you were referring to the shocks I was telling members about, notice the date on my posting of 12/1. Those babies sold for like 540 shipped and were new. Not sure what you's are looking at now but they're aren't any FG2's on Ebay at the moment. I believe James can sell the set for 1100.00 to members.

Hey!!!

Those shocks that are now on Ebay are FE4's and he's got to be kidding if he thinks they sell for 1800.00 from GM. What a laugh......when we know that the FG2's go for 1380.00 with no breaks from someone.

Paul:thumbsup:

the easy way to tell on the shocks is the fg2 have the dashed type pink/black line on them like --------- instead of the straight line border like on the fe4's
