12-01-06, 06:57 PM
Just found out my car was selected to be in the 47th Annual KOI Auto Parts Cavalcade of Customs at the Cincinnati Duke Energy Center. January 26, 27, and 28th. I am representing the United Manual Transmission Racers along with 3 other race cars. I'm very excited, gotta get started on my next 20 coats of Zaino.

Right on! You're part of the reason I chose to buy a CTS-V. Big power with or suck-ass rear-end.

That is great. I grew up in Cincy and used to go the show every year when I was younger. Unfortunatly I wont be back up until Feb. Enjoy and congrats.
Its not enough you're FASTER than the rest of us, now this?
Nice. Some of you have V's that should be featured in magazines. This is one we can all take pride in.

Sorry cant PM yet, dont mean to steal the thread... Hey im originally from NKY and I am planning on picking up a V probably next year sometime. hoping to find a cherry black one, but anyway where did you get your maggie installed?? that along with a shifter and clear shield for the front are going on in the first few weeks. i thought you might know a buddy you could turn me towards for a quality install at a good fair price. thanks for your help! and good luck with the car show. show us some pics!

I installed it myself, not to difficult, that's the nice thing about the Maggie. Expect to pay probably 900-1000, as that is what I have seen others pay. If you want to try it I'm available for advice as are others on the forum. Become a supporting member when you get it. Are you in Lexington?

Yep in lexington. not many Vs down here. and i seriously doubt any with a maggie. but who knows. i really doubt that i will try the install.... not super thrilled with tearing into things.. when i get one, maybe we can hook up and i can check yours out! how many miles with your maggie? any problems?

about 5K, no problems

thats great to hear. i had a 96 mustang GT with a powerdyne and it sucked ass! about 3k into it, it decided to inhale the impeller and that was the end of my powerdyne and i wasnt taking any chances with the motor after that seeing that the impeller pieces somehow bent up my sparkplugs. what a mess! dont even get me started on dealing with powerdyne's customer service! i will try to look you up after i get my V. I assume you rearend is handleing the maggie just fine??
YAY!! You go boy, maybe I'll come down for a visit then.
