Look very nice on the XLR, and I don't expect a trickle down effect to the CTS. BTW - That looks like the recently announced "Platinum" edition package available on the XLR, STS and DTS (special paint & wheels, additional chrome, and other items). Mercedes, Lexus, and others have reportedly been very successful with similar offerings.
Dubbed, did you know Cadillac used your pioneered name? :stirpot:

Flip, he's right. That is the Platinum edition XLR. Different wheels, and more chrome inside.

If you want to see a sneak peak of what the new CTS might look like inside, take a look at the new SRX.

We already know what the next CTS will look like. There have been numerous leaks, spy photos, and videos. Yes, it will have a great new interior similar to the SRX (that much was shown on the 60 minutes leak).

The XLR shown isn't the new design. GM just likes to "send off" old designs with special packages. It too will be redesigned in a couple years.

That pic is from Edmunds.com. The paint color is new for the XLR.

Here's text on it:

What does Cadillac's "Platinum" treatment mean to the XLR available early 2007? Elegance and luxury beyond a standard XLR in the form of exclusive 15-spoke, 18-inch wheels, brighter chrome finishes and Platinum badging on the door sills and trunk to name a few. The Alcantara suede headliner adds extra bling to the luxury package while the Liquid Amethyst exterior paint job makes it a must-have for all those Pisces out there.
