hey guys,

I recently saw these Curtisbilt 1.75:1 rockers being installed on a LSX series motor in one of the December issues of a corvette magazine, not sure which one it was... An easy 10-12hp.. No valve cover issues.. No guide plates needed.. Anyways... I have done the math, just not sure what my stock 2004 LS6 valve springs can handle for max lift.

Here are the figures;

*Stock intake valve lift with stock 1.70:1 rockers for our 04/05 LS6 cam is .551, With 1.75:1 rockers it ends up at (.567)

*Stock exhaust valve lift with stock 1.70:1 rockers for our 04/05 LS6 cam is .547, With 1.75:1 rockers it ends up at (.562)

So... What is the 2004 LS6 springs max lift good for, will i be safe running at .562/.567 or not?

Change the springs if you are gonna screw with the lift.
