Nope, you should just be able to pry it out with a flathead. I did it my first time and it was a sinch. You get the license plate and triangle lights and trunk lights too? Try and change out your visor lights, it always bugs me when I open mine up and still see yellow.

He's right, everything's in that link. But no, the whole thing just comes off. Give it a try.

Chi, might be something wrong with my reverse lights. Not the fuses, but the lights themselves. Every 10amp fuse I put in it blows it right out. I've tried using bigger amperages but either it blows it out also or just doesn't work. You think the bulbs aren't fastened enough in the sockets?

sounds like a short to me

I'm with dennis. You've got something bigger going on. You don't want to put higher rated fuses in there or you could risk something more major happening, like a wire overheating and catching something on fire. Put the stock bulbs back in there and take it to the dealer. Something weird is going on.

I changed mine too, But the problem I had was the map lights, Never did get a good bright light, also had to go to the auto store and buy new light holders, cause my light and sockets were all one piece. wasn't any big deal once I got the right size holder there just a couple bucks let me know if you find a good bright light. cts32 was a big help on this. Oh! I forgot after I did the license plate lights about a month later one burnt out so had to go through the hole thing again with taking the trunk apart, man is it cold here today says were going to get 3 to 8 inches of snow tonight supposed to go to chicago Fri. morning. Oh well.

Bit of a problem though, one of the stocks got smashed while I was obliviously changing them out. Got a part number?

glad to see you finally got everything worked out tommer. I wouldn't reccommend coming up here tomorrow, we're supposed to get 5-16 inches between 3pm and tomorrow around noon.

there's a softball clinic out in Rosemont Fri and Sat.,we already got a motel every thing is paid for all we have to do is try to get there. Daughter is moving to arlington Hts. tomorrow too. the movers have everything unloaded so she could wait til Sat. but I'm sure her husband would like to see her and the 2 kids.

well, good luck and drive safely and slowly. Better to get there slowly, than not at all.
