"Let my armies be the rocks and the trees and the birds in the sky..." Anyone remember their Charlemagne?

US military defense scientists have found a way to train the common honey bee to smell explosives (http://search.breitbart.com/q?s=explosives&sid=breitbart.com) used in bombs, a skill they say could help protect American troops abroad. Scientists at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (http://search.breitbart.com/q?s=%22Los+Alamos+National+Laboratory%22&sid=breitbart.com) in New Mexico (http://search.breitbart.com/q?s=%22New+Mexico%22&sid=breitbart.com) said in an online statement published Monday they had developed a method to harness (http://search.breitbart.com/q?s=harness&sid=breitbart.com) the bee's exceptional olfactory sense.

I can see it now, we'll have a huge hive of killer bees in every subway station and airport. As soon as the suicide bomber walks through the gate, he gets swarmed by bees and dies. Then they return to their hive.

Perfect.

But on second thought--that probably violates some provision in the Constitution against unreasonable searches or cruel and inhumane punishment.

Hmmm, I would just be scared they would attack innocent people just walking by them

Sounds like a good idea though since they can quickly immobilize a person.
