Something strange has been happening lately. When i go over a bump in the road while turning, even at a low degree of turn, the rear end seems to "hop" a few inches to the side. The bump in the road is maybe an uneven piece of road or something. It only happens when both wheels hit the bump. Feels strange. The faster speed the wider the "hop". No codes are present for suspension or anything . Whats the problem fellas?:hmm:

Any chance you just replaced your tires with a different brand?

BTW I also have this problem on a 98 Concours and I am begining to wonder of it is the tires I have on it.

My 98 SLS does the same thing. The tire pressures are right on.

i have the exact same problem on my 94 sls. my tires seem to be fine especially after i replaced the back tires. it also handles like crap at highway speeds above 40/50mph. i have a feeling its something really expensive.

Well, It seems we all have a problem. Now if someone would please post a reply with a possible solution. Tire pressure is perfect. GoodYear Eagles about 3 months old.

My ETC does this. I'm told the rear air suspension can take a crap on you. And one of the ways it will present itself, is by pumping the rear struts up to the maximum. That causes the rear end to bound, bounce, boing, and sidestep at every opportunity. The solution, is to replace the rear air struts with original, or with passives.

I'm in the midst of trying to decide whether to live with it for awhile, or throw a set of Boston Suspension passives on the rear www.cadillacsuspension.com (http://www.cadillacsuspension.com)
