I picked one up the other day for my caddy, to get rid of the home plate, what are you guys using to plug the oval hole in the bottom?

I bought the one with no hole in the bottom.

You can still use the one you bought. The hole should not be open, it should just have tubing making it look like a open hole. What you can do is trim all that extra tubing off so it does not hit your fans or belts

Used ones will be opened, as it is for the resonator tube (like our home plate). You might have to get creative to plug it up. Maybe pop rivet a steel plate on the inside and use permatex to seal it up to the rubber? Don't know.

The one to get is what 96Fleetwood has, the 1LE elbow. Which has it, but it is plugged factory.

I am using the stock one with home plate removed and a hockey puck. Works for me, functionality is primary right now, not looks. I do want to make it look better, but for now this suffices.

Ya I work at a wreaking yard and saw that we had a 96 lt1 camero, so I got the elbow off of it, I have a plug in mine right now just wanted a cleaner look, where would I get this 1le part?

See if you can find the rest of it and use that to help plug it off. It won't hurt power at all with or without.

Don't use it all, just enough to make a plug.
