I like it. You kept it classy without going over the top like many others have. Only thing I don't like it how the front is lower when laid out, I like 'em to sit level, or the back slightly lower. I'm aware you have juice(duh), but just saying.

Nice looking, very clean. Love the wire wheels but those tires are just a touch small such that they look lost in the wheel arches. The car also looks just a tad bit low. Low is good until you look like you'll scrape off critical components...

Now if I'd said stupid beaner rims or something like that THEN that would be racist and you'd have a point. I guess you're one of the easily offended types then, so I'll call them "the kind of rims that are spokes but aren't like factory spokes." :rolleyes: As for 24s, there's only one kind of 24s, so I'd call them 24s.

I'M a dumbass? You can't even use the correct "You're". I never said anything about the rims themselves, I always call 'em wire wheels because that's what they are and I actually LIKE wire wheels.

All I said was that "Mexican" is not even a race, nevermind a racist word. Please; you've already revealed that you're not Mexican so the only offensive thing I see here is you flying off the handle when you see something you like (wire wheels) associated with Mexicans!

Just for the record I like both cars in this thread and the second one exemplifies my idea of a good size for a "small" wheel/tire combo.

That is a clean lac you've got there. Smart choice to add the accumulators, they give back quite a bit of the ride. Whether your a hotrodder, lowrider, or a stock purist, I don't see where it matters as long as you don't drive a f'n honda!:cookoo: Keep up the good work, the lac is killin em'.

Well, everyone knows my bias towards the hot rod side vs the lowrider look. But I will say, rather clean. The only thing I don't understand, with all the variety in custom hot rodding wheels, why are so many low riders on wire spoke wheels? Is there a particular reason for that? I'd like to see some smooth dish wheels on a slammed vehicle sometime I think. But I may be wrong.

I'd have to say because wire wheels are just classic -they look good on anything, just about, they don't scream "HEY! LOOK AT ME!" but rather subtly say "I'm cool...", and because for a long time Caddies came with them factory. Nothing beats wire wheels, just like nothing beats a Cadillac. :) It's a match made in heaven.

Right, and to have the right "look" they can't be just any wires, 13s and 14s are the size that counts. It's not meant to look factory, but it is a look. I used to be really into lowriders, not the full show, chromed out, covered in murals ones; but the nice & simply clean street sweepers like this one.

13s and 14s just don't look right to me. They look awkward on such big cars. But that is just a personal taste thing. I don't care for the "full show, chromed out, covered in murals" look either. There is much more going for a car that is subtle than one that you can hear even with the key off. A little polish, a little chrome, some nice wheels and white walls, and you've got something beautiful.

which is just fine. lowriding has always been 13s and 14s. murals and paint and all that have been part of the culture for DECADES. how much do you know about lowriding? alot of people think it started in the late 70s early 80s but it actually started in the 30s. hot-rodding and lowriding are the two oldest forms of car customization.
