Anyone know what year the Escalade started using HID Lights??

Thanks fellas! I wonder why it took so long (2006) for the DTS to do the same. I was lookin' to get a used ESV in January...either an '04 or '05. Any of you have any tips for purchasing a used one? What to look for?

One thing to know about the escalades is the difference between the 02 and 03-06. 02 was the older interior without things like the digital ac only 1.5 din radio with no nav option, steering wheel controls are different, digital rear radio control. Minor things like that dettered me away form an 02 . The 03 and up are mostly just minor changes... 04 steering wheel jewel changed, 05 new wood grain, grab handles not painted on ext bed any more, touchscreen nav. Thats all i can think of right now, good luck and happy looking
