I got in my 96 STS to start it up after work tonight and when I turned the key the dash board lit up for a second and then everything went black. Now turning the key has absolutely no effect. I can't turn on my interior lights, my headlights, my power locks don't work. Everything is dead. The car has been running fine. Luckily I was able to get a ride home. Is there some sort of master fuse that will blow and do this, or is the computer fried or something? I bought this car almost three months ago and got an extended warranty that should cover anything catastrophic, but I'm hoping that it's something simple like a fuse. This seems more major than that though. It has approximately 95,000 miles on it. Any clues as to what this could be will be greatly appreciated.

First thing, make sure battery connections are good/tight/clean....

If that doesn't take care of it,you might have lost a fusable link....
