It is a GM accessory. It has a very nice smooth deep base note but is not loud until you get into it. HP increase is said to be about 15. RANGER 66 12-26-06, 01:45 PM Magnaflo is good. There will be more interior noise than the Corsa. I am not sure of the exact gains in HP or TQ with either system. I have never dynoed my truck. I am basing this on me having a Magnaflo setup on my 5.3 Avalanche and listening to/ riding in a Corsa system on a 5.3 Avalanche. I can only assume the same would hold true for the Escalades. Hopefully that helps. EscoZito 09-16-07, 11:06 PM I have a MagnaFlow. It is a single chrome tip out the back (similar to stock setup). It was surprisingly quiet from what I was expecting. On the highway at 75, there is no drone, and the exhaust is not noticeable. When you mash on the gas, it sounds great. No pop or annoying noises. Just low deep and smooth. I just put the eshaust on, so the sound is still changing as the days pass. I recommend it. I can't speak for the Billy Boat, Corsa, etc. I got a good deal on the Magnaflow and it is a huge improvement over stock. esved 09-17-07, 12:41 AM what would be a fair price for the magnaflow system? also for the install? thanks 253caddy 09-17-07, 11:27 AM esved I sell the magnaflow and they work great! Gibson just hasnt done anything special for awhile and they have kind of fallen off! The magnaflow comes ready to install out of the box or you can always take it and have it put on which is better since they would be welding it! Out of the box it comes with clamps to connect the pipes so someone could install this at home! Email me let me know what one your looking for as far as dual tips or single tip and I will get you a Member price asap! 253caddy 09-17-07, 12:01 PM Hey there I just got a call on the Magnaflow the escalade kit would be 510$ shipped to your door and I would think you could get it put on for under 50$ since it is complete just needs a few welds! Here is some more info! Rear Side Exit w/3.5 in. x 5.5 in. Oval Tip part number M/F16671 sounds great by the way! bryand178 09-17-07, 05:01 PM Hey there I just got a call on the Magnaflow the escalade kit would be 510$ shipped to your door and I would think you could get it put on for under 50$ since it is complete just needs a few welds! The tip sits on the right side. I just wanted to mention this, because Rear Side Exit can be misunderstood with actual exhaust tips that comes out behind the rear right wheel. I will post pics later if you want... | |
