I recently had a KARS Stage 3 kit professionally installed and it seems that when I slowly go around corners (left or right) I get a dull "creaking" sound coming from the rear end. There are no noticeable noises any other times and I never noticed this noise before the KARS.
Not sure if this is related to the KARS or if it's time for me to get in line for one of those dandy $4100 rear-end jobs!!
I have this also after a stage 3 install.
If this is the only downside to the stage 3, i would still do it again. the plusses outweigh this minus IMO. But, yes, i have noticed this.

is there a HUGE difference b/w the stage 2 and 3? I have stage 2 but its not istaleed yet. Should I sell it for stage 3?
(kooks, CAI, magnaflow)
CTS-V420 asked:
"kooks kars
how hard was the install on the Kars and the Kooks
I ahve a S2 Kars now, and will be ordering the KOOKs for xmas
how long were the installs? I'm no car expert but do know quite a bit...could I do both with a little help or do they both require a lot of experience"
I dont have enough posts to respond to private messages, so i will do it here:
The installs do not require any special knowledge, but i think it would be difficult without a lift. I did them with a lift and a tall transmission jack. I needed a second hand to take out the old headers and place the new ones in, but besides that i did it all myself. The kars is easy, but again i had a lift and a tall trans jack.
The kars took me 3 hours or less (without the welded connections). I will take the car to a muffler shop to get them welded.
The headers took me about 8 hours. an hour of the 8 was trying to re-install the dipstick.
As for stage 2 vs. stage 3, i dont know about the 2 so i cant give you a comparison.
