View Full Version : Your favorite 3-5 car colors What are your top 3 - 5 favorite colors for cars?
I like gold, white, bright red, navy blue, and cream (like the mid '70's GM creams). Favorite interior colors: white leather, navy, tan.
JRau in central Iowa I~LUV~Caddys8792 11-19-06, 10:42 PM General exterior colors: White, Black, Navy Blue, Maroon,...some greens..
Specific exterior colors: Slate Green Metallic (91-93 deVille/Fleetwood), San Marino Red (Honda/Acura), Black Sapphire Metallic (92 deVille) and others, I can't think of them right now..
Interior colors: Beige, White, Saddle (Tan). Nothing else. Benzilla 11-19-06, 10:45 PM Well, alot of it depends on what type of car we're talking about. Corvettes and Caddys don't look right in most of the same colors.
For older caddys, Western Saddle Firemist, warm gold/brown metallic colors, black, Cotillion white(cocaine white/antique white), dark red metallics/firemists, that '70s pea green metallic color, and cherry red on anything pre-1977. In no particular order:

I want to paint my Eldo yellow so I can have a "Yellow Eldo". I never saw a last gen Eldo painted yellow before, and I really think it would look good. EcSTSatic 11-20-06, 01:11 PM Even PINK looks good on the right car!

I do love the Porsche Guards Red and the nearly identical Cadillac Aztec Red. Other than those, I like any that are UNusual, such as copper, a charcoal-lilac grey, a light soft pink, such as the Mary Kay cars, a deep dark blue-green like a midnight aqua, and that georgous off white diamond color white/cream on the new Kia top of the line 4-door whatever they call it. Also the new 2007 Copper-ry orange on the Corvette. THAT is neat.
Colors I am sick of: Silver, Black, regualr and/or metallic white, navy blue, dark green, and light metallic beige. dp102288 11-21-06, 09:33 AM Lots of red. The Eldo is so damn beautiful though. I hope to own one someday (the 02 Collectors Ed.) | |
