Looking for the location of the 2 oxygen sensors (pre-cat). I got an error code P0420 from my OBD. I now need to replace the sensors..Help...:confused:

Check the exhaust manifolds. If I'm not mistaken, that's where they are. You said you have a 2000? Out of curiosity, how is it pre-cat? I have a 2000 and I have 4 oxygen sensors on mine...2 after the cat. Are you sure it the oxy sensors? There are many things that can cause one to give bad readings. Try clearing the code (I assume you have a scanner) and see if they come back. I received a similar error around a year ago...cleared the error and it never came back. Just a thought. Good luck.

I located one of the sensors as soon as I raised the hood. As your looking at the engine its on the right side. I was trying to located the other sensor up top. Where exactly should i be looking? It's not exactly jumoing out at me like the first one did. I have had the vehicle for 6 years and have never replaced the O2 sensors, so I would probably say that I got my money's worth out of them. I plan on replacing all four sensors and be done with it as soon as I find the lil bastard...
