Just throwing the question out there... I MIGHT be considering a used low mile one, but time will tell on that one, the fact that i saw one last night getting a tow on the highway doesnt help their case....So lets hear what you guys have (year wise) and what you have had done to them......

'05 30K miles - no problems, just ran original F1s out at 8K miles. Switched to Bridgestone R050As and got 21K out of them. I don't drop the clutch but do redline regularly. Nary a serious glitch. The finish is coming off my Radio/Nav buttons. Other than that has been perfect. You will find several folks with issues around driveline clunks and dissolving differentials. This seems to be the weakest part of the car.

Every item I have owned that has an internet board ends up as a place for people to air their complaints. Noone ever posts no problems, so you hear only complaints. While they should be heard, I feel the majority of owners have few issues. My $.02.

For as much as we all Bitch about our Vs, that, to some extent is what goes on here. There will never be enough "No problems, everything's alright" threads because they are boring...

Frankly, my V has been in the shop a few times for issues that you can read about on this forum, but overall it's way more reliable than my girlfriend's Ford.

Oh, and that SH!T eating grin on my face makes it all worth it.

Bottom line: it's a performance machine so expect to have to replace tires/ brakes more often than a Civic and you wont get the MPG of a Prius. But the happiness it provides will make it all worthwhile.

My opinion.
