I found this artile about an old man in a fleetwood who hit the gas instead of the brake and ran over another car. Here is the picture of it.

Well, that is some hill-climbing torque for ya!

I guess it's not that funny afterall since someone may have been hurt.

Yep, I've had that picture for years, and it really is a bit funny.

Being familiar with both cars, the Fleetwood and the Intrigue, I presume the combination of the Fleetwood's power and big relatively high bumper, in conjunction with the Intrigue's low and ramp-like nose are why & how it happened...

Dont get too excited about that. I put up a picture before of a 1991 or 1992 Fleetwood that did the same thing.

Well, those cars still fit what I said--big heavy bumpers up relatively high and strong power. Older Brougham or newer Fleetwood, they both could do the same thing, likely:thumbsup:

While that's funny as hell, I have to remember the Honda ad about being pedestrian friendly. That means:
>Droop snoot, and sloping hood.
It also means:
If you hit any animal larger than a white rat, you WILL BE EATING IT!
That's why I love my 95 FWB with the boxy front end.
My wife and I are both nervous as a whore in church when driving her Stratus after dark in any forested area.
I have a photo in my files (somewhere in my gawdawful junk collection) of a moose which went completely THROUGH a mid-size Chevy (forgot the exact model and year) but obviously the driver was killed because the head of the dead moose is poking out from the rear window with the entire moose body still inside the car and there is blood everywhere !

I never thought about that before but I knew from the start I didn't like the idea behind those Hondas...

Probably but I didnt say Brougham I said Fleetwood. As in smaller with crappy bumpers. Im surprised that Fleetwood even did that. It should have just smashed into the front of the red car and stopped. its still a cool picture tho!
