I just joined because I am very seriously considering buying a 94-00 STS. I was hoping to gain some insight as to what to look for, what to avoid etc.etc. I've been in and under cars for most of my life as a hobby. I hope I'll have something to contribute to the forum as well. Thanks!

:welcome: I'd go for the '00 if you can afford one. There's lots of information on how to pick a used car here. Maintenance is the key.

Welcome! :LittleB: You will find tons of info here... (well not here as in the Lounge, we are just crazy here but the other sections are full of useful tips and info).

:welcome: :bouncy: :yup: To the Forum. We just hang out here at the lounge and BS a bit. There are numerous sub-forums here and even an STS. The black '00 STS is sharp if you can swing it. I had an '01 Eldorado w/ NorthStar. A very nice Cadillac. You'll find the NortStar engine not the easiest to work on though.

The biggest thing to look for when buying a N* powered vehicle is the headgaskets. The coolant has to be changed in a N* at regular intervals or the headgaskets go, which is like $4000 to fix. Some of the Eldo / Seville guys can tell you far more than I can, but welcome to the forums! Glad to have you!
Greetings and :welcome: to the Caddi forum :)
Hey there! Be sure to post your question in the Seville/Eldo section for detailed answers. See you around. :)
Welcome aboard! Lots of great info, and lots of just plain funnies. It's all good. Easy to become addicted, though...
Enjoy your car hunt.
