Ok i just bought a new HU today (Kenwood -MP532U). the shop didnt have the Metra 70-1857. They had something they said would work but wanted $70 for it so I will just order the Metra online for $44. Anyway I have a blown stock BOSE 6x9 and was wondering if i could swap the 14 year old BOSE stock speakers for new ones, but still use the stock amp for each speaker. I know the stocks are 1 ohm and i was probably only be able to find 2 ohm speakers but would they sound good?
thanks
Ryan

You Can Replace Bose Speaks With Aftermarket
Low Ohm Speaks Are Best
Do Not Use Bose Speaks With Aftermarket Hu Or Amps That Is Bad

I second that, just in case you need two opinions. I have lightning audio 6x9s that I mounted in my front doors. Yes you can replace the old bose with the newer 2ohm bose as well.
