LEFT LANE NEWS - - Nissan North America has announced plans to introduce two new "performance vehicles" at the Los Angeles Auto Show, November 29th, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

All-new for 2007, the Nissan Sentra will once again have SE-R high performance models; both SE-R and SE-R Spec V. The SE-R Spec V model will be powered by a specifically designed high-output version of Nissan?s 2.5-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine. Additional information on the SE-R with be announced at the LA Auto Show on November 29th.

Nissan will also showcase a "uniquely styled, exhilarating performance-oriented vehicle," the company said. It will mark Nissan?s entry into a "previously untapped customer segment." We suspect the vehicle may be the recently-spied Nissan Altima coupe (http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/10/23/spotted-2008-nissan-altima-coupe/) (pictured).

Or a U.S. version of the Skyline. (although I heard they were waiting till later to premiere that)

Sorry, guys, not the least bit interested. :stirpot: However, I think it would be hilarious if Nissan brought back their B210 in retro form. Remember how hideous they looked--especially their wheelcovers? :histeric:

IMO, way too many foreign based cars over here in the US... Keep the Jaguar's, exotic Italians, and a few of the BMW's, otherwise, "see ya!"

Correct on the Altima coupe. My district manager (Or whatever they call themselves now) from Nissan confirmed it. They should be in the showrooms in February.

Now, on to more exciting things like what to have for lunch :)
