What type of bulbs are the daytime running lamps and the fog lights on my 07' ext? What kind of bulbs can I replace them with just to make them super white as opposed to orange/amber?

The DTR lamps there is no info on in the owners manual as to what type of bulb. The fogs are 9145, you can find Sylvania SilverStar bulbs but you will have to look around depending on where you live. I took 9005 and cut the tabs down (used one of the stock 9145 as a templet) and they work great, they have more wattage than the 9145 (I think 10-15 more watts)

take the two bolt out of the top of the headlight that hold the headlight in theres is a bolt at the bottom of the headlight that needs to be taken out also so, take the clips out of the front of the wheel wells and you can get to from in there. its a tight squeez but its better than dropping you whole bumper. you also have to take the clips out of the top of you grill so when u go to pull the headlight out you can benb the plastic parts out of the way so you dont scratch your paint... let me no if you understand it all

The fogs on the 07' are 9145 bulbs, not the easiest to find, you can take 9005 bulbs and cut down the tabs to fit, use the stock 9145 as a templet. I did this with 9005 Sylvania SilverStar bulbs and they work great, about 15 more watts than the stock bulbs.

Nope. 194 Can't be right. That's the bulb on top of the entire assembly. The DRL is below that. Thats the bulb that everyone is wondering about.

It took some time, but I think I know what it is. It's some freaky new sh*t that OSRAM put out.

Details in a moment....

Here's the info on the bulb: If you look closely inside the housing you can read some number and letter combinations off of the bulb. I have determined that the bulb is called a: PS 19W

Now, obviously, this bulb is very new because a google search only shows limited information from this site: http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache:XLt4ntRHEV8J:www.optis-world.com/download_software_libraries_demo.asp%3Flib_type%3D 1%26metier%3D6%26sort%3Ddate_enr+PS+19W&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=1

If any of ya'll can do better, let me know.

This might be a stupid question, since I'm a '99 D'Elegance owner, but has Cadillac stopped putting the specs for bulbs in the owner's manual?

My D'Elegance owner's manual has specs on all sorts of maintenance items like bulbs, wiper blades, fuses, etc.

They had all the bulbs specs in the 03; Escalade as well, not in the 07's

You guys obviously have not heard of WWW.SYLVANIA.COM

Daytime Running Lamps ARE 194 like that one guy said. I JUST swapped mine out...

Foglights are 9145 but some people run other 9000 series bulbs such as the 9005 as one person has mentioned. Also, some people suggest using a H10 type bulb to replace a 9145 bulb.

You're Welcome

We all heard of them, but they must have just updated their site because for the longest time there was no 2007 listings. :(
