Our new toll road opened up today, called SH130 that by-passes Austin on the eastern edge. Was wide open on my way home from golf this afternoon. The V thought the 130 sign was the speed limit, so 130mph we did. Nothing like fresh, smooth as butter concrete. Reminds very much of the autobahn I get to drive nearly every month.
Anybody else in Austin break her in yet?

Hope to see you around. I live in Round Rock off 3406 on the west side of I35. What color is your V? Mine is black with a Corsa exhaust.
Silver. Live in Forest Creek (off of 122 (Red Bud Lane) between 79 and Gattis School).

Nice! I've got dibs on 183-A :D
The stretch of Parmer north of 1431 ROCKED when it first opened up. Dead straight and when you crest a few of the hills you have a clear view for the next mile. Tends to get monitored much more often now, unfortunatly.
Where do you pick up 130 ...what part of Austin?

I was coming out of Manor on 290 West. Took Parmer Ln. north for about 1 mile and hopped on SH130 from there. It's wide open from Parmer all the way up to Rt. 79. If you are coming from San Antonio, you could get on 290 east in north Austin and hook up with it. Eventually SH130 will go all the way to south Austin and be a true by-pass of the city. Not until sometime next year.
