Patriot Guard mission this evening. Escorting a soldier's body killed in Iraq, Spc. Nathaniel A. Aguirre, from the airport to the funeral home. So I'm dressed pretty much the same as last week when this pic below was taken while we were at the airport waiting to escort another soldier's body home.
That's me standing there talking to the assistant State Captain of Texas on his trike. I of course drive the V on the missions. I'm the "Cager" in the red Cadillac.

I saw someone today going down the road in DTS dressed as the crypt keeper.

I figured he was headed to halloween party until I got closer and realized it wasn't a costume.......

But the big salute goes to our guys and gals serving in the military, all politics aside, they're choosing to serve and some pay the highest price. We (PGR) do it for them and their families.
The man on the blue trike in that photo is a Nam vet, retired law enforcement, and has a prosthetic leg, yet gives countless hours of his time to the PGR arranging the ride missions, talking to Casualty Assistance Officers, family contacts, etc and participating in the missions to make sure these folks know their loss is felt by others as well. All without any pay, and actually paying to do it in time spent and gasoline among other things. It's the least we can do for the Fallen and their families. This young man we're escorting this evening, his mother is a USO volunteer out at D/FW airport who greets the troops when they come home on leave or back from deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan. But tonight we're going to help her bring her son home. :(

Well Im a newbee here. I am awaiting my new (used) 05 cts V as we speak. It is on a truck coming to me today! I have HUGE plans for tonight. I might dress my new V up as a GTO for holloween. If you see GTO lights behind you thats me. Notice I said behind. They can't pass and they are very ugly!
