I take it you didn't go to Aruba, since you have returned. (DOH !) ;)

LOL No Aruba, not this year. Maybe next. Oh and the best thing of all was that my brandy new Volant CAI was here at home when I came back.

Thanks for the welcome back. What do you want pics of, the trip? I have 300 or so, which is unusually small amount. I usually shoot upwards of 700. I've been on this ship before and some of the islands were repeats also so I only shot about 300 this trip.

Club Orient is cool, that's for sure.

I think the best way here is to post a link.

Anyone know how to install this CAI? The directions suck to say the least. How does the PCM mount in the box. It looks like they want me to do some drilling for the bracket?

The Volant website has been down for a few days now so I can't download the installation manual.

I realize this is a GTO and may be no help at all, but there also might be something useful in it for you while you wait for volant to get back online.

Dude, of course. They call me Mr. RCCL. It was my second voyage on the Explorer.

I've been on the Sovereign, the Empress, the Voyager and the Explorer twice. Dec 02 2007 will be my third voyage on the Explorer.

Nice pics. Looks like you had an awesome time. How much do those cruises set you back? Need to drum something up for a 25th wedding anniversary...

That particular cruise was 9 night Easter Caribbean out of Bayonne NJ. The cost was right around $1k per person. That's including Cruise Care medical insurance, taxes, port charges.

The next trip is 12 night Southern Caribbean and it was $1300 per person including the same.

You can't get that much vacation for that kind of money anywhere else. Depending on the time of year you sale alters the price greatly. March - May is pretty cheap and Sept - Nov is pretty cheap.

The 12 night mentioned above is for Dec 2 2007. The same cruise 2 weeks later is already over $1800 per person.

For the most info regarding Royal Caribbean go to www.rccl.com (http://www.rccl.com) and use the find a cruise tool.

I realize it's not even the same thing but I'm done with Ocean going ships, cruises, etc after living on one for over 4 years. Kinda like when you get food poisoning and don't have the desire to return to that resturant :)

That looks like one hell of a nice vacation! And for the price, I might be able to talk Ruthie into a honeymoon on a boat!

Took a cruise a year ago. Was the most fun I ever had on a vacation. Better than actually going to one place. I loved it!
