I installed this HU like last month and I just wanted to post the pics. Hey CadillacETC1997, looks good huh? Thanks for your help. I had to get a single din dash kit and cut it up and then epoxy it to fit perfect, then I covered it up with pleather to make it look nice.

Very nice job to the OP!!

Ok. My 95 Eldo can take a double din, and so can a 99 Deville. But I hear that some Caddys only can take upto a 1.5 din.

Could someone post a thread that lists all the HU sizes of various models for that past few models?

I just think it would be helpful so people know what size they can put in their car.

I think the concourse can't take double din. I'm not sure but they have all of their control there and it takes up space where on the base deville, all the controls are up on the DIC so more room for the radio in the dash.

PS-CadillacETC1997, if you want I'll make one, all you gotta do is buy the parts, labor's free. I owe u one.

caddys in the 80s up to 91 used 1.5 din

99Classillac pm me an addy so we can work sumthing out i got my avic n1 but im thinkin of moving that into the 74 vert and getting a dbl din in my ETC so its not blocking the info control center

^^ So all Caddys 92 and after are full double din (4" tall)?

your 95 ESC will take a dbl din right in all you need to do id fab up some sort of bracket to hold it.
on the eldo seville forum someone did it and posted it in there i remember because i asked him to take pics and post them for future referance.

^^ Thanks.

I had a double Din in there before I got my Pioneer single Din dvd unit. They used a single din kit and flipped it upside down so it wouldn't hit my dash.

Oh yeah, if you could find that thread and post a link, I would really appreciate it!

hey did you fix or Lock the HU in place

I'm late as hell in responding. No it wasn't locked in place. The HU fit so tight in the dash kit that it just stayed there.
