: Which rims look good on my car?

ahhh yeah, another wheels question... but this is bugging me....

currently I have the 15" steel wheels with Cadillac wire wheel covers... which look nice, but I want some nice 16-17" chrome wheels....

http://www.cardomain.com/id/night_wolf

I was looking at the option wheels out in 1993 and only like a few.... there was one really rare ones that are full chrome, but look nice... but I have narrowed it down to these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2461171639&category=6146

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6146&item=2463013425

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6146&item=2462195957

I think some of those are the same wheel... I like the way they look....I thought there was also ones that looked like that, but had black on them (on the '93 60 special)

Then, I came across this, and I was really thinking about this... I always liked the '96+ STS wheels, and this guy has a Coupe with the wheel, what do you think about these?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6146&item=2462579768

I dunno, on the STS they are sweet, but on the DeVIlle with the older styling.... I don't think it looks *as* good....

Of course I could always break down and get some 16" 100spokes.... but I think that would give me a ghetto image, which I do not want.....

...Atleast I got to see a DeVille with the STS wheels.... so far I like those factory Caddy wheels... I was kinda hesitant about it, as, they are factory,a dn you buy wheels to be differnt, but there are not many '91-'93 DeVilles around here, and the ones that are, are Sedans, not Coupes.... I think those wheels (16" I believe) would look nice all shined up..... not I just gotta find a pair....

Any suggestions on the wheels though?

those first 3 are the same, and they are 15 inch, not 16. I think the 16inch STS wheels look good, but without white walls. I have 97 deville concourse wheels(16x7) on my 90 coupe and i think they look really good. If you have steal wheels on now i'll tell you one thing if you get some 16 inch alloys and some good tires your car will feel like a new car. My steering feels lighter, the car is just a little quicker and with my Dayton daytona HR tires it sticks to the road sooo much better. CTS wheels look good too.

yeah, I heard about the bigger wheels and stuff... my car isn't a "Touring" version (well, they only made Touring Sedans) so all the suspension gear is regular stuff etc.....

..... hmm, I thought those were 16"....guess not..... I'll check out the Concourse wheels.... any other ideas on what nice wheels to get? I kinda wnat to stay with white walls..... do you have any pics of the '90?

hmmm, these are '97 Concours wheels:

I dunno if I like them too much.... I would have to see more pics of them.....

These cought my eye:

basically, I don't want anything that will look plain stupid on the car (racing wheels etc..) or give me a ghetto image (100 spokes, 22's etc..) but better then the steelies, and hoping for factory, atleast all the new wheels will fit my car.... as I have a nice range to check out.... I like the Cadillac center caps too.....

I wonder how these would look on my car.....

* damn, wheels are going for HELLA $$$$.... no way I am gonna spend $800 on wheels... I was thinking like $350 or so after shipping total (jus tthe wheels) I dunno.... it seems like the older wheels aren't going for as much... maybe I can check some local junkyards, but I am sure they will charge through the nose for them too....

Those are nice. :) It would be cool if the center emblem was gold plated, but then, it would get stolen! :helpless:

Best looking rims I've ever seen on a Fleetwood/60Special were the 98+ SLS wheels:

They might look good on the coupe too..

OMG, that looks awsome!! Is that yours Andrew? You know what they almost look like though, the standard factory Fleetwood FWD rims for 1991! I have the optional "lace design" but I like yours better. In fact, the only real noticeable difference from the standard Fleetwood rims and yours is that yours has triangular spokes, and the factory had square spokes. Either way, the spokes look better than lace, and I wish I had those.

I wish it was mine! My one has the square spokes. That one is from Japan, and even has the Ultra seats:

I don't see those rims too often on eBay though, only once in the past couple months or so.

Wow, those really do look nice....

...hmmm, now that I think of it, I kept searching for the "sport" version of the wheels, STS, DTS,Concours etc.... and maybe that is why I coudln't find a nice match for my car... going with the more luxury models, they seem to fit better....

...the more I look at those, the better they are.... are they chrome? what size? and how much do you think for a set of 4 would be?

Those are 16". The ones in the pic aren't chrome, but they do come that way as well.
The last set I saw on eBay went for under $300, so well within your budget.

Thank you, as I have now found my new wheel to get :D

perhaps they are not going for as much as the [STS] version becuase there sin't a demand for them..... either way I want em....

...besides ebay, and maybe other junkyards, where coudl I find a set?

Hey Guys,

I've got a set of wheels for sale which I'm taking off my STS I just bought. The following link is not the actual wheel but what they look like. I actually have 5 of them from one of them being a full size spare.

ok, so there was a set of wheels for a 2000 Seville SLS on ebay, the chrome ones, with center caps etc.... in other words, they are the ones that I want soo bad.... the auction ended and noone bid, the starting price was $499.... I e-mailed the guy about going lower, and he said $499 is the lowest he will go..... damn, that is about $150 out of my budget for wheels... this sucks, then again they are the chrome version, pretty nice.... there would also be $80 shipping.... I am thinking about offering him the $500 WITH shipping.... but then again, $500 is alot of money to me, and that dosn't even come with tires, so I will have to buy them too... then I think, $150 is about 1 paycheck (1 week of work) right now, and that I could give up 1 weeks paycheck if that means me getting what I want and being happy etc.... just that thinking about $500, or almost $600 is alot..... I dunno, my current steelies and hubs are good for now, plus the tires on there are OK (back tires are Vouges, but worn, front tires are new, but cheap no-name brand) so maybe I should hold off and see if a better deaql comes by? what do you guys think?

Also, if I could get a good deal on the brushed aluminim wheels, I would go for them, then if I was really set on the chrome, I could always switch over down the line....
