I have a 2000 SLS with 36k on it and my driver's seat is breaking down I think. The outside bottom(near door)is so soft that I can feel the plastic(frame?) under it, uncomfortable if not sitting in center of seat. Dealer service dude said "seems like it MAY be breaking down some, normal" I did not question further except that I do not think the seats on a $50k car should be breaking down at 36k and that SHOULD not be normal. I have had Benz's with over 200k and seats are like new.

Your factory warranty should include EVERYTHING!

Have not confronted them yet....did not want to mess with my shimmy complaint which turned out to be "normal" as well.

Does anyone else have soft seat sides or has anyone else had a warranty issue with seats and if so how bad/soft was it?
