Okay I have decided on getting the 500cid V8 for my 84.I heard that I can use most of the brackets from the 77- 80 Cadillacs to swap in the 500 in my 84. I want to buy all my parts that I need before I start this project. Are there any brackets I can use from my car? I'm gonna be hitting my local junk yard this coming weekend to check out what years Cadillacs they got.

It is a PIA trying to gather all possible needed brackets before you start the job, but well worth the effort. :hide:

At the risk of going offtopic, I see your avatair is for the Cadillac-LaSalle club. Was wondering what your thoughts are on that club, as I have been considering a membership.
