Could the O2 sensor cause the misfire. The car just started to idle rough in the cooler mornings the past couple of days but runs fine after it warms up. The O2 sensor has been bad for a couple of months. I got under the car today to replace it and realized that I have the wrong sensor.:rant2: If it is not the O2 sensor then I would guess that it is the Crankshaft sensor. Any sugestions?

Thanks Jeff

just from my experience you proably need new wires, plugs and valve covers gaskets due to the oil leaking in the plug wells

Before the engine warms up the PCM does not regard any readings from the O2 sensors because the O2 sensors must heat up to function.

This sounds like a bad MAF sensor, my car also had a rough idle while the engine was warming up.

Definitely not your O2 or crank sensor.
