I was going to get my coolant changed at Vavoline, their website indicates that they use Zerex 5/100 Coolant. Is it safe to have them put this stuff in a 96 Eldorado?

You dont mention the coolent you are using now. If you've got the orange Delco stuff now, it would be better to replace it with the same.

You should have the DexCool coolant in your engine. It was originally made by Texaco. I would stick with Texaco DexCool, personally. I know that all the other suppliers claim that their long life coolants are compatible and such...but....I KNOW that the Texaco DexCool is compatible because they are the OEM supplier.
