Damm your quick Gene........Pics up already!! It was great meeting you and seeing the old group from last year again. I agree Paul's got me beat with that cam and AFR Heads. I need that sound ........Reminds me of the sixties when I was at the drag strip. And a reminder to all who doubt if the Kars kit Stage III works.........THE ANSWER IS YES!!! I took a ride with Doug in his car and slamming second was no problem with no and I mean no wheel hop!!! I also feel ride quality was not deminished. You still have the Cadillac ride and I would strongly reccommend this mod to all. Thanks again to Robert for bringing us all together again and lets do it again next year!!! :thumbsup:

A BIG THANKS to Robert for setting up the meet and to everyone that showed up. Gene the pictures are awsome, thanks. I only wish we could of arrived sooner and had more time to talk to everyone. It was great to see everyone from last year, and to meet all the new owners that made it this year. Steve that wonderful sound and power is only a phone call away! Thanks again to all. He had the biggest crowd around his ride. Paul's car sounds meaner than last year. Good seeing everybody again and meeting those that showed up this year. JSPRIDGE . . that was great that we had a little open road on the way home. Good run before you had to exit! See everyone next time.

A very nice day for a drive, none the less. If you made the drive to and from in the same day, you win for sure! I came in on thursday night and I'll be heading back to the burbs tomorrow.

I'm the goober in the last picture stuffing my face nearest to the window. Rob surprised us and we all pretty much had food in our mouths. The one to the right of me is my gf, and the other two are my friends from Dublin, OH.

I'm sure JSPRIDGE had his speedo set for metric in order to see those kind of numbers, because, well . . I would never, and I was just trying to maintain with the flow of traffic like they taught us in the Senior Driver Improvement Course. :hide:

Nope - no metric on my speedo. The fastest I saw on the digital guage was 110, but I was still accelarating at that point. If we would have had a few more miles of open road and the Escort plugged in, that would have been a great opportunity for a top speed run.

It looks much better in person. The pictures make it look very "in your face" but in person they're pretty subdued.
