With my Q in such good condition, I've been bored with nothing to fix.

Should I buy this?
1964 oldsmobile ninety eight, with 89,000 actual miles Now have pics (http://stlouis.craigslist.org/car/197829933.html)
$250

Appears to need cosmetic work and probably a fair amount of mechanical upkeep, but nothing too serious. Would be nice to make it shine, run properly, and drive it on weekends.

Love the styling. That rear deck is long enough to land a 747.

The current issue of Car Craft has an awesome el cheapo build on that same car, but with two doors. I DEFINATELY think you should buy it. $250 is a steal...and already with a big block in it?! Most likely a 455...bad ass. Check it out for rust in the trunk, floorboards, rooflines, doors, etc etc etc...and if it looks doable, hell yes you should buy it. Always loved the old Olds'.

If your Q45 has the active suspension, save your money!

Find out is you have a place to get parts for it and go for it.

I can't picture you owning a '64 Olds Jesda, but if it seems to be fairly easy and cheap enough, go for it!

Buy it, tune it up so it'll run and take a roatrip to California to give it to me! C'mon, it'll be fun!

I'd love to see this car in your hands. You'd make a very detailed and interesting journal of its restoration for us all to view I hope!

My grandfather had a white one very much like that. His might have been a '63, I'm not sure.

The first time I saw pictures of it I thought it was a Lincoln, the tail lights look similar to the Continentals from a distance. He traded it on a '66 Toronado.

At that price, if that car was within 50 miles of me I'd buy it.

Bored? Come fix up my car. I'm never bored with this thing.

I see the posting was removed, did you buy it?
