Either:
A Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step (Much better than their first. :) )
-Or-
Dave Matthews - Some Devil (Always good.)

I don't buy many CDs anymore (mostly DL my stuff from iTunes and things like that), but I grabbed those two last time I was away on a trip and absolutely had to have something new to listen to.

LOL Not much since they raised the price of beer by a dollar! :crybaby:

Must be to cover all the upkeep they've been doing...

Besides, all the good DJs are at Luna now.

Besides, all the good DJs are at Luna now. :thumbsup:Upkeep :hmm: ...oh, you mean black paint :D I don't get there much anymore either. The last time I was there was November. Weak. You're right, the DJ sucks. He still plays the same things he played 4 years ago. Don't get me wrong, Panzermensch is a good song, but after the 57th time, it gets a little old. What nights do they spin gothic at Luna? I need a new place and I miss dressing in black. :lildevil:

It's pretty much the City Club for big kids now. :)

Because the one near me is nothing but a hang out for 'kids'. It's kind of a joke.

Downtown Detroit inside the Ramada at Cass & Bagley. If it looks like you're walking into a homeless guy's bathroom, you're at the right place.

Could be! That's not an entirely inaccurate description.

It used to be a lot more fun when they had the good DJs and I could get Guinness for 3 bucks a bottle all night long, but now the only real selling point is they don't throw you out till about 4:30.

Most new cd's are sh*t, but when you get stuff like rock 101's buzz bands album, you get some good stuff. Have any of y'all heard of lacuna coil, or 3 days grace, or anything like that? I don't know how many New Englanders we have here. If you are, let me know.

Ya might want to consider this one if you don't have it already.

The twisted cover of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" is a statement of intent, while the cool jazz riffs from the band's trumpet player are part of what makes tracks like "Daria," "It's Coming Down," and "Frank Sinatra" so original. "The Distance" is a funked-up jam with a Chili Peppers chorus. --Jeff Bateman

Ya, he makes retro cool! "From Dusk Til Dawn" is another good sountrack of his. It features Mexican or Spanish-style songs. I liked the final showdown song from Kill Bill, and if you get the soundtrack (number 10) that song is actually 10 minutes long!
