What's up people? How's everyone doing? A little background:


I use to own a 96 Seville STS. I bought it back in 2002 and unloaded it in in 2004. I'm an electrical engineer and I first started back in 2000. I thought I was a baller for a while and I was really pushing it with the car payments along with insurance. I think I payed $200 a month for Insurance on her, but I wasnt a great driver back in my teen years. So yeah, thats where I payed for my mistakes. I bought the car with 75,000 miles which was another mistake. I was the type of kid that had ADD and couldnt get enough of driving. Needless to say I put about 50k on it in 2 years. The car never leaked and I had the trans rebuilt at about 80k miles. I'll admit I ran her very hard. She was fast for a tank. I ran a 14.6 @ 98mph in the 1/4 ALL STOCK. Rumor has it that was the fastest year they made the STS. (Least amount of Torque Management?) I started to heard a funny whine noise coming from the trans while it was in park. It was faint but I hear that kinda stuff. I took it to a Cadillac trans specialist that one of my co-workers recommended and he said my torque converter was going bad. I honestly didn't believe him, but I payed the $200 co-payments and he some how was able to get my warranty company to pay for a $3500 job. Give or take.

I got tired of the Caddi, but I still loved it. It came down to changing the brakes and rotors (front & Rear) At the time I was a noob and didnt know how to take the rear brakes off. You need a cube to do it. I'm sure your all familiar with it. I dont know I was young and wanted something a little more interesting. I wound up trading it in for 1 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. I decided to make it a Daily Driver Race Car. I dumped about $4k Into it. It ran a 14.5 stock. By the time I retuned and Intercooled it with a whole bunch of other stuff. It now runs a 12.9 -13.0 @ 104 mph with a 2.1 60'. Now I cant wait to get rid of this dam thing. I'm so tired of modding and tuning. I want luxury again.

In the next year or so I will be searching for a Seville or Deville. Depending a bunch of stuff. Right now I will be studying

Welgome to the group! I agree, you definatley need a Cadillac again. What did you do to the GTP to get it running 13s?

Geez Where do I Begin.

I started out with a Fender Well Intake and 180* T-stat. THen I went to a larger MAF (LQ4 85mm MAF) S&S Ceramic Coated Headers. Stage III Intercooler with Johnson Pump, Full custom Catless catback exhaust, 3" Down Pipe, Stock Super Charger pulley is 3.8" I run a 3.2" with 14lbs of boost, Polycarbonate motor / trans mounts, 1.9 ration Roller Rockers, 90lb springs, custom pushrods. Custom High Speed Fan Switch, DHP Programmer for full tuning.

I think that about covers it.

Nah, I cant wait to get rid of this Grand Prix. I've been looking at 02-03 Seville STS, but I probably will get a little newer since another year will be passing by. WHat the hell do you have done to that Eldorado? Ever dynoed it? I just recently dynoed 312whp 370ft/lbs of torque. Bring a V6 and all the car still weighs 3600 lbs w/o me in it. I'm about 230lbs. I'm tired of speed. I just want to chillax in a car. (Chill & Relax)

only performance chip ever built by jet as a prototype is housed in my air intake mounted pcm.
0-60 5.7 seconds stock was 6.6-6.8
also has a custom cat back exhaust made by me

Dude, Thats a gorgeous car. Very nice. The only thing that baffles me is how you kept up with that ZO6. In my GTP I do 0-60 under 4.5 seconds. I dont loose power until about 110 and thats beyond my trap speed in the quarter. What do you think you car does in the 1/4? Mid 13s, because I know she cant run high 11s. Unless that chip is some sick shit

to be honest i havent run her 1/4
1/8 she runs 6.6 i believe and thats with my damn t.c kickin in
im working on being able to modded the t.c switch so i can keep 1st gear.
next step will also be some eibach springs to improve the handeling a bit too.
