Is "Blues Brothers" a car movie...

"Its got a lot of pickup"
....
"It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant,
It's got cop tires,
cop suspensions,
cop shocks.
It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas."

Because this is a Cadillac site I say "The Thief" (1980/1981 film)with James Caun, Tuesday Weld, Jim Belusie and Wille Nelson. There is a 1980 or 1981 Eldorado black exterior and interior stainless roof and Seville.

Otherwise it has to be Bullet, 1968 fast back Mustang dark green and 1969 black Charger. True muscle cars even if they are not Caddy/Chev
please excuse spelling still working with out it and I suck at spelling.

Bullit was a good movie.
And even though its not a movie, I like the episode of cops where they were chasing an eldorado, the driver flipped the car over in a parking lot

Both Bad Boys movies would rank up there. Love II with the CTS and then the Hummer throught the shacks. Now that would be fun.

Hooper was pretty good.

Hollywood Knights.

Blues Brothers for sure.

Vanishing Point.

The Gumball Rally

Bullitt
Smokey and the Bandit (1st one is a masterpiece, 2nd is OK, 3rd isn't the best but I do love Buford T. Justice)
The Last Ride (it was a tv movie about a 1969 Pontiac GTO "Judge" but I have the DVD version)
Gone in 60 Seconds (the 2000 remake, I hated Eleanor in the original)

There are probably more but these are my favorites.

That had a few nice cars, but damn, it was a really bad movie. The third one was less bad.

I love the introduction to the Bluesmobile. The butt-ugly Dodge Monaco was the real star of that movie.

Blues Brothers, all the way http://www.infoideas.net/dact-com/Blues-Brothers-Car-Picture.jpg

CADDY CONTENT:
--------------------

Jake gets mad when he finds out that Elwwod traded a microphone for the old "Bluesmobile", a Caddy.

Murph and the Magic tones also ride around in a Caddy if memory serves, and paint "Blues Bros. Band" on the side of it.

Carrie Fischer drives a pink Caddy in the film, I think! I'm sure I can drum up a picture on the net if I look hard enough.... it's in the scene when she fires the rocket launcher.

Ronin has one of the most impressive car chases I have seen in a movie. Mostly all euro cars in that flick, but still cool none-the-less.

There is another movie, that I can't remember the name. A guy has an old muscle car (GTO maybe?) and is driving to California on a limited time frame. I actually own the DVD, but my brain is drawing a blank. Movie was made in the 1970s or around there.

It wasn't that great...

You've been spoiled by seeing better movies.

I first saw that movie in 1977, and there just weren't that many good movies shown on TV back then. We only had four channels, and one of them was PBS.

It was on the late show, at 10:30 on a Sunday night. A school night.

I was up past midnight dying to find out how it came out. When I got to school the next day, about 8 other guys had stayed up watching it too. We dozed thru every class.
