I'm sorry, but please edit your post to include three, no more, no less, pictures of your Cadillac... I don't have enough time to pick the best ones - so you'll really need to make the decision on your own...

Thank you...

I thought that since we are doing two calendars, i'd post up 3 pics of each of my cars, since there will be more room. But if you want me to, I'll just post one pic of each so if I get voted for, all of them will be in the same month, if so, let me know and I'll cut some of these.

IMHO I'd remove the magnetic ribbon off the trunk lid. It detracts from your car.:)

Frost
10-05-06, 02:14 PM
Well Heck Robert, the car is away now for the winter and that ribbon shows my support for our troops that are in Afghanistan kicking some major Al Quaida Butt right now.

I don't have another pic of the back of the car that would be "photogenic" enough for a calendar. What I can do though, is post up this pic of the c-pillar after a downpour - if that is more appropriate,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and I've noted a few of the others are posting pics that only show portions of their cars.

My personal preference though, is to leave the pic in there with the support ribbon. If, by chance, the car gets picked for the calendar, I wanted to send a few copies over there - through our Legion connections. I'm sure the lads would be thrilled to see all the great cars that will be featured!

Our Canadian boy's blood is just as red as the American's and they love our Caddies all the same :)

Don't misunderstand me Frost. You have a lovely Caddy. I spent a lot of time in the photo and video business and I learned to look for distractions and how to check the background. I saw one poster who had garbage cans in his pics.
I sure wish you had a digital camera so you could quickly shoot another. These cameras just keep getting smaller, bigger memories while the prices drop. You can get a nice camera for less than $50 now.

Frost
10-05-06, 02:33 PM
No misunderstanding or offense taken, Robert.

I could kick myself for not getting one of those fancy-pants cameras but when I picked up the Olympus in '98, it was the absolute best one they made - and in my price range of around $500.00. Back then, a digital camera was going for over $1,200.00 and that was for a base model!!!

When I get around to it, I'll pick one up - but not in time to enter this contest, unfortunately.

The first pic is new, the other two are re-posts since I don't know which thread we are even going off right now and I seriously doubt my stock 16" rimmed Caddy will get picked for a calendar spot but, I'm posting pics anyway cause I love my car and someone else might too...I call April if no one else has!! :)

I only have those 3 prints, Robert - and they are embedded in this thread.. Mind you, now some have been enhanced, so would you just pick the ones you think would be best orientated for the vote?

With your backgound and expertise in this subject matter (photography), I'm perfectly willing to have you decide that on my behalf.

My point is it's gonna be tough for ever gets the job getting all the correct photos in a new thread for voting is gonna be a tough assignment! Will it be totally by popular vote or will there be classes for say Classic Styles, Big Bodies and CTS frames? One or two calendars is still fuzzy. Like I said IMO we need more direction.:)

It was told in the beginning that there was to be no more than 3 pictures of your car and it was up to the individual to pick there favorite. Now if it is 3 different cars that is different. Then there is the other post and I think that was for people with new submissions that were not on the list here. Well don't worry about all the nonsense talk in between if Sal doesn't want it here he has the power to move the chit-chat part into the other thread and just leave pictures. Now as for frost who has had some editing done he should probably erase his original 3 and put in the edited ones or keep the original so we know which 3 he wants voted on. Just because things were edited doesn't mean he likes them better so until he changes his original submission I would think that is what would be considered.
