I am getting a p1441 evap flow during non purge
1997 Deville with 150,000 miles

I have replaced the gas cap with Stant cap, replaced the
purge solenoid and the vacuum lines on top of the engine.
Is there a evap valve in addition to a evap solenoid or is
this just different terms for the same item. I am getting
no smell from the canister but how do you know if the
canister is bad.
I am not sure what to check next except the vacuum lines
at the canister.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I love this car
and just bought my second Caddy

Check and test the EVAP vacuum switch. It might be stuck open.

Also check to be sure that there are no cracks in the canister or the vacuum line connection nipples. That said, I think Frank is onto something there.
