Hi,
I am new to this forum and want to exchange info on vintage cads, if this is not the right site for this and you know where I should be, please let me know.

I have a restored 1958 Coupe De Ville that I to Specs per 1958.I am also hot rodding a 1964 Coupe De Ville with a 429 in it. I am wanting to put headers on it and am having a hard time finding some. I have never done this before, so I am hoping someone out there has had some experience doing this. The goal with this is to have a loud, fast lowrider.

Thanks.....

Welcome. For the headers you're going to need custom made ones. I'm getting some custom made ones for my '70 just as soon as my lazy friend desides he wants to make them for me.

There are about a quarter people on here with pre 80s and a quarter people with 80s, then the rest are all 90 and up, so there is people you can talk to about your vintage.

Ooh a 64. Got any Pics? (include the 58 too.) There's a bunch of people with classics, but they don't post about them much, since theres not too much that can go wrong with them. However, if you have a problem, you can usually look foward to getting a decent answer from someone with experience.

Hey,

I don't have a pic of the 64. I should be getting some engine shots today as I just had it restored. I can't wait. Here's an old shot of my 58. I can't find the interior shots. When I do I'll upload them. The interior really makes it.

Sweet 68, Dave. I have a 68, but it's a total rust bucket. I'll probably make a couch out of it.

Custom made headers, NIN? Probably not......to much $$$. Somebody refered to Sanderson. I am going to call them today.

NIN, you in So. Cal??

Street Rod magazine has a few vendors specializing in Hot Rod parts for big block Cadillacs. I don't have a copy right now or I'd post their names.

my dream cars are a 1959 Eldorado drop top and a 1955 CDV drop top.... both in mint resotred condition.... it will be expensive, especally since by the time I can afford them, they will be that much older, but I WILL have both of those cars in my life some time.... damn, I can stare at either one all day and be in amazment..... they stand out to me... just like my '93 CDV does, and that is will I am the last owner she will ever have :D it'll be a classic in the future.....

Nope. I didn't have any money at the time. It was all pouring into the caddy.
