Anybody ever put subs with the factory Bose system? I'm wondering if that's a cheap way to get some good bass bu I want it to sound clean...

yes.. thats what i did in my truck.. you can get a unit from Pac-audio or Peripheral.. its a plug and play unit.. it plugs into the back of the radio and makes it so you can run RCA's to an amp.. along with a remote wire to turn the amp on..

CaddyKidd, how does it sound? Does the Bose keep up with the subs or vise versa? What's up with the sub box you have on here for sale, the one that holds the 2 - 10's that was under your seast? Could you use the midgate feature with that?

yea the bose is great.. I have 3 12's now that run like 1200w rms.. the bose sounds great with the subs... as far as the underseat box i am probably going to try and use it again.. i am throwing 2 10inch pioneer subs in there.. im gonna see if i like the sound.. if i decide to stay with the midgate ill let you know..

JL Audio make stealth box for Escalade EXT. it also comes color match. 2 x 12 inch subs.sounds really good.

the second one you have a link to will not work in the escalade... only the stealthbox will work in the EXT..

I'm leaning toward the Stealthbox but it's kind of expensive & I don't like the fact that I lose the storage spot for the rear window... The other option is the one CaddyKidd mentioned with the 2 - 10's under the rear seats... The only thing I need to know with that is, does the midgate still fold down.

yes.. with the underseat box the midgate folds down..the seats fold down on top ofthe box and then you lower the midgate as usual..

Regarding the box under the seats, it it a custom enclosure or a pre-made box by someone?
