MMNineInchNails 02-22-04, 01:18 PM Change the filter with the car off. Then the car wont stall. There, they will have certified Cadillac representatives who will gladly issue you a number, and provide shuttle service back to your home. Then call back in 2 days, to inquire. However, any trade secrets sharing as to the procedure in your particular case are not authorized, so just bear with it, and when you do eventually have the shuttle take you back in, let the attendant know how you always insist on the service manager's personal attention. He's such a prince. (This scores big, and insures that he will be around for a bit longer). Then simply walk over to the payment window and do what they tell you. This way, one doesn't have to turn off the key and change the filter. It's always best to read directions first. It's right there in your owners manual. Honest. joeveto 04-08-04, 02:03 AM When you go to pay your bill, after the shuttle delivers you to the service department, be sure to drop trow and walk in backwards. That way, the whole procedure, of raping you, will be much more honest. You guys are too freaking funny. You cannot disconnect the intake hose without disconnecting the mass airflow sensor...that's causing your engine to die. I suggest investing in an aftermarket cold air induction kit (or a high flow air filter is a cheaper alternative) if that is in fact what your trying to do. If you're just changing the air filter....turn the engine off first. | |
